The Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis announced record attendance figures during a working meeting.

'This is one of the grandest events taking place in our region. The festival was held for the first time in 2015, gathering about 300 guests. Meanwhile, this morning's data says that this year's festival sites attracted 10.5 thousand people! This is double the last year's figure. Guests from many places in our region and from as many as 34 other Russian regions gathered in Teriberka. Live music sets by the headliners, invited guests and our local bands played for 30 hours. There were also 100 workshops and lectures,' Andrey Chibis noted.

The head of the region also mentioned that Arctic cuisine was an immense hit at the festival.

'The demand for Arctic cuisine has grown by leaps and bounds, with our guests ordering 25,000 servings. I would like to give a special mention to the Arctic Cuisine Theatre, a unique phenomenon, spectacular and delicious. It featured chefs not only from the Murmansk Region, but also from other Arctic regions of Russia,' the governor said.

Andrey Chibis also thanked the festival crew, volunteers and Teriberka residents for organizing the event.

'I am grateful to the entire big team for organizing the festival. The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, Roscongress, the Murmansk Region Tourism Committee, Murmanscongress and more than 100 other organizers each did their jobs perfectly. On top of that, about 50 volunteers were involved, and I thank them very much for their contribution. Special thanks go to Teriberka residents who are always cordial to the guests,' the head of the region noted.

The Teriberka Festival was part of the cultural section of Russia's chairmanship at the Arctic Council in 2021-2023.
