A resident of the AZRF to build medical facilities and hotels in Chukotka
A new private medical facility has recently opened in the Mayskaya Gorka district of Arkhangelsk
15.03.2022 // The private clinic, a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF), will operate in Arkhangelsk's fastest-growing district. The project aimed at the creation of a family medicine centre in the Mayskaya Gorka district was included in the register of priority investment projects of the Arkhangelsk region on 15 June 2015.
The launch of such a clinic, including those operating under the compulsory medical insurance system, will create healthy competition between state medical institutions and private ones. The result will be an improvement in the quality of provided medical services.
'Over the following years, the amount of required investment almost doubled. In 2019, the centre received the status of a large-scale investment project. I'd like to thank the investors who, despite a significant increase in the amount of funding required, didn't scrap the project and opened the Family Clinic,' says the Head of Entrepreneurship, Foreign Economic Activity and Investment Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Arkhangelsk region Sergey Paromov.
At the beginning of 2022, Family Clinic LLC received the resident status of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. This will allow investors to seriously reduce their costs by reducing payments on insurance premiums when creating jobs and receive tax benefits. By the end of 2022, the clinic plans to serve up to 15 thousand people according to the compulsory medical insurance system.
Currently, the total volume of private investments attracted for capital investments in the project amounted to more than 250 million rubles. 40 people got a job in the clinic. By the end of 2022, another 140 people will be employed. The clinic plans to offer a wide range of medical services, including modern diagnostic and laboratory tests.
