Gazprom Neft has built a building for its employees in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area using a 3D-printing method on a Russian printer. Despite its futuristic appearance, the building blends seamlessly into the natural landscape of the Ob River pier. This is reported by the Taimyr Telegraph.

Construction was 1.5 times faster and 30% cheaper with the help of 3D technology. The specialist recreation building was built of foam concrete—the walls, furniture and interior elements were printed. The walls have been decorated with drawings with elements of indigenous ornaments.

The premises do not need heating in spring and autumn—the building maintains a comfortable temperature; in winter, it is heated with an electric heating system.
