SPIEF 2023 to discuss outcomes and plans for the development of the North Sea Route
In addition to business events, forum participants will be able to visit an Arctic bar, send a postcard with views of the High North anywhere in the world and take part in a raffle for tours to Russian Arctic regions.
5 June 2023The development of a global transport corridor in the Arctic will be the subject of discussion at the session 'The North Sea Route. Outcomes and Plans,' which will be held as part of the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2023). This was reported by sudostroenie.info, citing the Roscongress press service.
The session will take place at the stand 'The Arctic—Territory of Dialogue,' prepared by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, which will be a key platform for discussing the Arctic agenda at SPIEF.
In total, the Ministry's business programme includes about 15 events dedicated to key areas of Far North development, some of which will take place as part of Russia's 2021–2023 chairmanship plan for the Arctic Council.
