One of the future world-class scientific and educational centers (REC), created within the framework of the national project "Science", will be devoted to the study of the Arctic. This was announced on Tuesday during the plenary session as part of the online stage of the nineteenth Forum of Strategists 2020-2021 by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov.

According to him, a lot of attention is now being paid to the tasks related to ecology and climate change. “Moreover, systemic measures to achieve such large-scale tasks, including the goals of sustainable development, are laid down in the national project“ Science ”and the new national project“ Science and Universities ”, the minister noted.
