Experts, scientists, indigenous youth, and attendees will gather to discuss traditional health maintenance methods and to exchange knowledge and experiences. This was reported by the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area regional government's press service.

The international seminar will take place on March 22 at the natural-ethnographic complex in Gornoknyazevsk. The event will gather around 50 representatives of indigenous peoples from various regions including the Republic of Yakutia, Tyva, Buryatia, Kamchatka, Sakhalin, Nenets Autonomous Area, Komi Republic, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Are, China, Khabarovsk Krai, Irkutsk Region, Gorno-Altaisk, and Yamal.

"Anyone can participate in this event to familiarize themselves with traditional medicine methods and learn about preserving and passing on valuable knowledge to future generations," says Pavel Lanovoi, the leading consultant of the interregional cooperation department of the YNAA Department of External Relations.

The seminar will take place in a stylized chum, in a hybrid format that includes discussion panels, workshops, and presentations. The Reindeer Herders of the World Association and the District Department of External Relations are organizing the event.

Guests can look forward to a tour of the district capital, a visit to the House of Crafts, the Museum of Yamal's Modern History, and the natural-ethnographic complex in Gornoknyazevsk.
