The first vessels arrived at the port of Dudinka and Bukhta Sever for transshipment. More than 500,000 tons of cargo are planned for the season. The Project Office for Arctic Development (POAD) writes about it.

For Rosneft's Vostok Oil project, consisting of 52 licence areas in the Taimyr and Gyda peninsulas, icebreaking brings in reinforced concrete, cement, equipment, supporting structures, cables, fittings, special equipment and other cargoes.

The cargoes are used for the construction of the Vankor – Payakha – Bukhta Sever pipeline, infrastructure in the fields and at the port of Bukhta Sever, as well as related facilities in the region. Delivered cargo will be unloaded both at the port of Dudinka and at 16 landfast ice sites on the Yenisei River.

Vostok Oil will use eight seagoing bulk carriers from Murmansk and Arkhangelsk and five icebreakers, including the Ural.
